Which questions for whom
For coworkers
Keep it light: experiences or things, practical or fun, how they start the morning, what they always run out of.
For family
Go a little deeper: a skill they'd love to learn, a dream trip, the best gift they've ever had, what they have too much of.
For a teacher, from the class
Everyday comforts work best, so ask about their morning drink, scents they like and how they spend a free evening.
